I was hoping for great things as I’d heard great things. We went for taco Tuesday. Great prices but unfortunately the tacos were lacking Mexican flavour and were tasted more like a wrap from the servo or a deli. Definitely not comparable to some other Mexican flavours in the city. Unfortunately won’t be back. Lovely staff though I will say, it’s a shame the flavours just weren’t there.
The food was great, fresh and filling. Although, the staff servicing the dining area didn't know what was on the menu, or the specials on the black board. Quite a lot of confusion about our basic order. Nevertheless, the price is decent for the serving size and all dishes had good quality ingredients and flavor. I'll be back to reassess. Some good potential here. But the service staff really need more thorough training.
Great atmosphere, Amazing food, lots of flavour, good hospitality friendly staff.
An incredibly disappointing experience having food at this place. The chicken was undercooked both the tacos and the Lucky Lupitas Super Bowl (was a Loser Bowl) and everything definitely felt frozen. The jalapeno poppers did not have any cheese in them and when we asked was mentioned that the cheese is inside (was hidden soo well that we could not find it after opening it up too). It felt as if they are trying to sell frozen food which isn’t even heated up properly. Definitely raising this with the staff wasn’t helpful as the owner/manager told us that he has sold tacos the entire day and hasn’t had complaints. If you are thinking of going to this place, please walk away as the food was super disappointing .
I really enjoyed this venue. The staff were really friendly, the prices were very reasonable and the food was amazing. We ordered the three taco combo. The lamb was amazing the pork was ok and the fish was my least favourite. We also ordered the nachos and they were incredible. There was a slight bit of spice which lingered. Located in the heart of North Adelaide is defiantly accessible. There is street parking in the surrounding areas. From entry to exit, there was a Mexican vibe flowing. From the artwork to the furniture, it definitely creates the appropriate tone. I would recommend to anyone looking for a delicious Mexican meal whether that's for a dinner for two, a group of friends or a family meetup.
