Strongly recommend Mermaid Pilates! I figure skate recreationally and interested in Pilates after a few coaches recommended for off ice training. They suggested would help strengthening my core and glutes. I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Pilates is one of the approved low impact exercise recommended for people with RA. I started to notice a difference immediately after a few sessions. It’s truly helped my skating. I feel stronger, more stable, able to get lower on my sit spin. Have noticed improvement in flexibility and agility. When I had my annual check up with my Rheumatologist he was super impressed with my muscle and tone. I hardly experience any joint pain, discomfort or stiffness anymore; all thanks to Ariel!
Ariel is wonderful. I have a condition that makes it very hard to exercise. Exercise causes me a lot of pain. Ariel has so many different ways of exercising that it hasn’t been a problem for me to continue on. I have done many different types of exercise, and this is by far my favorite! Ariel is a wonderful Teacher and has helped me strengthen and gain muscle that I was worried wouldn’t happen for me. I highly recommend Ariel and won’t go anywhere else!
Ariel is truly incredible. I’ve seen so much progress since starting with her, both in strength and confidence. She knows exactly how to challenge me while still making every session enjoyable. I have done many fitness type classes, and Pilates with Ariel has been the most beneficial one I have ever done! She is very intuitive and knows just the type of workout and modifications that are needed! In one month I feel amazing and have had real noticeable results!
Wow, wow, wow! I’ve been working with Ariel for a month now and it’s been absolutely fantastic. She is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, and also has a real gift for teaching.
