I returned to this shop today Saturday 31/8 to look at a white shirt that I had seen 1 week ago. Unfortunately the shop assistant, elderly lady with white hair (not Irene) was presiding over the shop and I can only say that I did not feel welcomed. I was looking at a light green dress on the display mannequin when the shop lady asked me not to touch the item for fear of disengaging the hanger from the stand to which I politely replied that I was being very careful to not disturb the shop displays. The shop lady then replied that I could have enabled the garment to fall off the hook and and cause damage to my feet, to which I replied that the very light weight of the garment was unlikely to cause irreparable harm. I can only attribute this type of attitude as one of racism or discrimination (I appear Asian). The shop lady certainly did not want me to touch the item. One would think that if a customer displays interest in a shop display that is in a prominent position to attract the attention of passers by or customers, that you would invite the customer to try the garment or you take the garment off the hook to proudly show off your wares. After all they are for sale. This shop lady discouraged me from purchasing anything, so I visited Arida down the road and bought myself a lovely French bag and I also bought a pair of Italian shoes from Booty . I was able to capture a more welcoming retail experience from the sales assistants in these shops. Perhaps the first shop lady should evaluate who she judges to provide sales assistance - I ended up spending $800 at the other shops. I must add that the shop had some wonderful labels and clothes, it was a pity the service didn't match.
Robyn at Potts Point is an amazing lady to deal with. I ordered from New Zealand phoned and spoke to her, she just could not do enough to help me get what I wanted from Mon Petit Chou. The goods were dispatched promptly and arrived within 10 days. The clothing was all I expected, looks great, fits perfectly.
Excellent service. I ordered online on the weekend, my order was shipped Monday & I received it today - only 4 days to Perth! I love my Foil pants as they are so comfortable to wear & wash well. I have them in various colours already but just had to have them in Chartreuse which was very difficult to find - until Mon Petit Chou came to the rescue! The 7/8 taper leg works so well for us shorter people. I'm very glad I've discovered this boutique & my sincere thanks to all concerned at Mon Petit Chou.
Since purchasing from Mon Petit Chou at Potts Point in 2017, I have bought several items online from Melbourne, where I live. Every time delivery has been quick, service exemplary - as good as if I was in the shop and the quality of goods excellent. I tend to buy high value items when on sale and I have still received quality service. Thanks Robyn, I plan to visit the Hunters Hill shop next time I'm in Sydney (???). :))

With Robyn at the helm, Mon Petit Chou is the forerunner in fashion with cutting edge designs from around the world and here in Australia. Robyn has had and now has an amazing team In both Boutiques, especially for me the fabulous Ms Mary. Each visit to the boutique in Potts Point is like coming home as you are made feel so welcome I cannot wait till my next visit. 💓💓
