They absolutely saw me coming. I called that I was stressed and in a rush that I had a dress I needed to wear that night that needed to be taken in. They said oh we don’t know oh okay okay we will try and help you just come down and we will see how much work it is. Now I asked them 4 times up until and even as they were pinning the waistline to be taken in and the hem how much the price would be. They knew the dress was literally a $300 dress. So after it’s all pinned and they see how panicked I am and it’s off and ready with the tailor I ask AGAIN and they said $470. For something that could’ve been done anywhere else for god never over $80. Because 3 sections (makes no sense since it was waist and hem) again they knew I was frantic and it was a “big job” Yeah it took them 30 minutes to finish. This site should be ashamed of themselves they knew I would pay after it was all pinned and the panicked rush I was in, the work was not well done I would have to get the dress readjusted if I am to wear it again and today since I DO have time I will be contacting department of fair trading and the ACCC. You do not rip someone off because you see them so stressed to get something done to the point of them being in tears that you see it as a bigger way to profit. Disgusted. As a business owner I would NEVER treat a client this way. Bad service, bad work, bad people. Do not touch this place.
I had the most wonderful experience with Soraya Tailoring! Rabie and his team did an absolutely incredible job with my wedding dress, the attention to detail, craftsmanship, and care they put into every fitting was outstanding. They truly listened to what I wanted and made sure everything was perfect down to the last stitch. The dress fits like a dream and I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism, patience, and beautiful work. Highly recommend Soraya Tailoring to anyone looking for expert tailoring and a team that genuinely cares about their clients!
I’ve had several pairs of pants and tops altered here and they have always done a great job, including 1 silk pair of pleated pants required attention to detail. The turn around was fast and you cannot tell that it’s been taken up. Highly recommend.
I needed an urgent adjustment to a pair of trousers. I called into the Crows Nest Store on a Saturday. It was very busy and i did not make an appointment ( sensible next time to be respectful to Soraya ) but i was greeted warmly , looked after , measured up and on my way and the promise of having them finished on Monday was kept and i am a very happy customer. Highly Recommend and its nice to be around happy , professional and very friendly people , thank you
