If I could rate them 0 stars , I would. Racist as hell. I drove from Grand Prairie to order food to go. The owner told me that they don’t do take out but proceeded to sit white customers. I asked him if I could get a table and then get a to go box , he told me no because they’ve had a lot of problems with takeout orders which made no sense at all. I came outside to my vehicle and another black guy asked me if they said they don’t do take out and I said yea. He said that’s crazy because he went to do dash and it allows you to pick up food if you place an order on there. This establishment will NEVER GET MY MONEY. If you’re black , you need to run. Don’t think you’re going to come in , sit down , and take what you don’t eat with you.
Went here with my wife and my brother and sister in-laws food was great the chef was funny and very good at his job. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is perfect it is a special occasion type of place for the cost but we'll worth it.
The absolute WORST hibachi experience I’ve ever had in Arlington! I see why this place was empty everyone was just standing around doing nothing. The scenery might look cute, but don’t let that fool you because the food is absolutely terrible. We went for a date night and left completely disappointed. There was no energy, no entertainment, no fun nothing! The chef didn’t speak a single word, just quietly cooked, did one volcano scene, dropped food on our plates, and walked off. That’s not hibachi, that’s sad. The chicken wasn’t fully cooked, the rice was half overcooked and half undercooked, and the yum yum sauce tasted like straight mayonnaise. Everyone sitting at our table looked disappointed too. When we called the manager over, he didn’t care at all. His exact words were, “It’s on the chef if they want to entertain but they don’t have to.” So basically, we paid over $100 to sit with strangers, eat bland and unevenly cooked food, and get one quick flame for “entertainment.” The salad was soggy, the shrimp tempura rolls tasted old and mushy, and the veggies were far from fresh. Honestly, the best thing we had was the Shirley Temple and even that didn’t come with a refill. This place is a complete joke. Management doesn’t care once you’re seated, and the food is not worth your time or money. If you want real hibachi and a fun experience, save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
First time visiting and this will not be my last. I stopped in for lunch and ordered from the lunch menu. I requested a bar menu as well since I had plans to have some sake. Overall, the food is delish. I ordered the Nagoya Bento box with the sake sampler and a glass of the house plum wine. All lunch specials are served with miso soup, house salad and steamed rice. I added the fried rice for $3 extra. If you're a fan of sake, do get the sampler. It's really good. The house plum wine is very nice too. I left with a big smile on my face. And my server Cindy was kind and attentive as well.
Had a nice dinner for my eldest child's birthday! We all really enjoyed it! The salad and soup before were delicious. We tried the Philadelphia and shrimp tempera rolls for the table. We also each did a hibachi plate. More than plenty of food with a beautiful presentation and very enjoyable chef who kept us laughing the whole time. The price was fair for all that we ordered (5 people plus $35 tip). Not too bad. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend 👌🏻
