This place was rocking beyond belief, amazing energy, and The food took me to the nooks and crannies of Italy. It was overly busy the night I visited and service was great and food still arrived quickly. We tried tons of things and definitely recommend!

An absolutely unforgettable dining experience. This is true Italian hospitality at its finest. The food is consistently outstanding, made with authentic ingredients imported directly from Italy, and the attention to detail never slips. Our friend and host, who is from Naples, truly brings real Italian hospitality to life — warm, generous, and passionate about what he does. On our most recent visit we had the Chilean Seabass with Scallops finished in the wood-burning oven which was phenomenal. The Chef’s special pizza delicious. Tiramisu to die for. Along with plenty of drinks, and some exceptional bottles of wine, and as always, the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxed, like spending an evening with friends rather than just going out to dinner. If you want genuine Italian cuisine, incredible wine, and a place that treats you like family, this is it. We’ll keep coming back — and recommending it to everyone we know.

This place has been hyped up to me for years as being one of the best restaurants in Madison, and I hate to say, I was a bit disappointed. We came on a Thursday and made a reservation. But when we arrived it took 15 minutes just to be greeted by a host. We then sat at our table for another 20 minutes before being waited on at all. Service throughout the evening was very slow and scarce. It took us over two hours to have our dinner which consisted of 2 drinks, one appetizer, two entrees, dessert and an espresso martini. I’m not sure if the intention is to mimic the Italian way of slow dinner, but even so, I’d expect drinks and maybe something to snack on much earlier. But we actually got our drinks after the food, so it just felt like a lot of waiting. Atmosphere is pretty loud and crowded which I think could be fun when you’re in the right mood! Food was very good but in my opinion, overpriced for what it is. I think at least if the prices are going to be this high, the service should match.

An elegant Italian dining experience. Tables are close and it feels like family style. Our server was excellent. She knew everything there was to know about the menu and the wines. I was a little disappointed with my scallop and prawn pasta dish. There was only three scallops and three shrimp, not what I would call prawns. The taste was excellent. Our other dishes were excellent. My son got a ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. We had roasted calamari for appetizer which was also delicious. A premium dining experience at a premium price. Our espresso to finish the meal was excellent.
