Last time I have ever used them. Purchased 4 tyres costing over £800. Haven't used a car on a motorway for over a month. When I went on the motorway the car was vibrating badly, wheel balance issue. Took it back. I was made feel like they're making me a favour by checking it again. Came back later on the guy said there is no issue with the balancing (without taking the wheels off). Took the car to an actual garage and they found 3 wheels out of balance. £80 to get a proper wheel balance. Avoid National tyres/Halfords.
My experience at National tyres in Edinburgh 72 Stevenson Road was incredibly amazing. Keir, the person on reception who dealt with my car case was so helpful. He offered great service and reassured that I will get a good service. I have had bad experience in the Livingston branch and was thinking of leaving halford’s premium club, but Keir’s helpful and polite nature made me change my mind.
Great Business. The manager at front desk was super helpful after my van was booked in for 4 all season tyres last week. Got a waiting room or an easy walk for a coffee to McDonalds. Van was ready when they said and all excellent. Thanks again to the staff at Stevenson Drive Edinburgh. Keep up the good work.
Late posting this review ..what great service from the team at Stevenson Road branch! They replaced a tyre on my F Type at short notice and checked a fault light for me at no extra cost. While I don’t live in Edinburgh my parents do and they’ve completed my Dad’s MOTs the last 2 years and are consistently brilliant. Professional and friendly team with high integrity. Highly recommend.
First time in 10 years of driving, I have received such excellent service. Dropped my car a couple days earlier as MOT ran out and I couldn’t get my car to garage any sooner due to an accident. They were able to get my car MOT and Service complete within hours. Got my car 3 days earlier than expected. Very friendly and knowledgeable guys! Thanks so much!
