I absolutely love this gym. Great atmosphere and great training for all levels of experience. Very welcoming and unintimidating for those new to Muay Thai. All the instructors and other members are very helpful and uplifting. Great team environment. Ajarn Adams is an extremely experienced instructor and fighter as well as the other instructors. Highly recommend.
I found this gym around December 2024 and have had nothing but great experiences. The culture is very uplifting. It's named "Ohana" for a reason. We are a family here, all striving to grow mentally and physically into better people. Come join us if you're looking for a community of good people who will push you to reach your goals and help you back up when you fall down. 10/10 would recommend.
Most expensive Muay Thai in Tulsa. The head instructor Sammy rarely teaches, routinely has no plan prior to class, gets side tracked and off topic when explaining drills. Will rarely correct student technique but will interrupt drills to talk about himself. Seems to only get excited about the class when he’s making a video for his website or Facebook page and makes it pretty clear through his talking and behavior that his biggest concern is the money he’s getting from the students and not teaching. He’ll spend 5-10 minutes per class trying to sell you stuff out of his box of gear or tshirts or shorts and then go over the allotted time on a regular basis. He brags about having 32 years of experience yet only has a couple people who have trained with him longer than a year. In my opinion the only reason he’s rated this highly online is due to his constant requests to visit his website and leave reviews in class and via text outside of class. Unprofessional in all aspects from teaching to a misleading website, to lying about and trashing the character of his students when they decide to change gyms. A pattern that has happened many times over the past few decades. This used to be called Adams Muay Thai, you can look up or ask around other Tulsa gyms as to why he changed it. I want to leave 0 stars or 1 star at most, but I’m leaving 2 ONLY because of the other two instructors who teach once a week each(unless Sammy changes it last minute which is common) , they both do a phenomenal job and will excel when they go elsewhere. Don’t waste your time on this place, especially if you want to learn actual Muay Thai.
I absolutely love the training here. My son has now been training 5 weeks and he loves it, Looks forward to each class and the whole atmosphere is very welcoming and encouraging.
