We’ve come here a few times already. One of the dishes posted no longer exists, but the first time we ate here was in September 2025. We were sad to see the menu changed in subsequent visits. We were going back for one of the dishes, though everything we had was good. We did free street parking, but there is valet. The street area is a little rough. The service here is always stellar. The restaurant is dim and romantic. The burratina pugliese starter is nothing like I’ve ever had before. The bread is flavorful and crisp. The chilies are subtle and woody/earthy/nutty. The olive oil just tastes like quality. The dish that’s no longer on the menu is Tagliolini “Da Francescana.” The depth of the cheese was wonderful. It is out-of-this-world good. We came back for this and sadly it was gone only a month later. The pan seared Wagyu tastes so hearty and flavorful. I particularly love the mushrooms. I got the rosemary olive oil cake since it was recommended, but it was the worse dessert I’ve ever eaten. It’s not that it was cooked badly, it’s just not a flavor profile I was looking for in a dessert. It didn’t sound appetizing, but I got it because it was recommended. I didn’t know chilies in a burrata salad would work so well, so I thought maybe they worked a miracle on olive oil in a dessert. We barely touched this dessert. Every other dish we had we ate the plate clean. Not the dessert. The ice cream was topped with olive oil. It just felt like you’re shoveling spoonfuls of olive oil in your mouth. I mean I like mayonnaise, but I don’t eat mayonnaise by the spoon either. As for the rosemary cake, nothing wrong with the cook of it, I just don’t want the flavor of rosemary in my cake. This dessert is just not for me. When we returned another time, we tried brown butter ravioli and bavette. My boyfriend enjoyed the ravioli. It had rich flavors, but I found it kind of sweet and was not looking for sweetness in a ravioli. I did not like the bavette. I think I just don’t like the flavors of a pecorino cheese. We would return here as many times as we can. Osteria Mozzarella has the best tasting Italian food we’ve ever had. Many new Italian places we’ve been trying after this has been a disappointment.
From the moment we walked into Osteria Mozza, the experience felt intentional and elevated. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between lively and sophisticated, with warm lighting, a buzzing dining room, and a sense that every detail has been carefully curated. The service was polished without being pretentious, and the pacing of the evening made it easy to settle in and savour each course. It’s the kind of place where you feel the craft and care long before the food even hits the table. Smoked Mozzarella & 24-Month Prosciutto – 10/10 Absolutely amazing. The smoked mozzarella had the perfect balance of creaminess and depth, and the prosciutto was silky, delicate, and full of flavour. A flawless start. Caesar Salad – 10/10 A culinary marvel. Ingenious, fresh, and a completely elevated take on a classic. Crisp, perfectly dressed, and full of character. An absolute must-try. Brussels Sprout Salad – 10/10 So fresh and beautifully balanced. The toasted almonds added the perfect crunch, and the vinaigrette tied everything together with bright, vibrant flavour. A standout dish. Truffle Pasta with Normandy Butter – 8/10 Incredible flavour and intensely rich. The portion appears small but is more than enough to share between two people because of its luxurious richness. Fragrant, decadent, and beautifully executed. Agnolotti – 7/10 Good flavour, nicely cooked pasta, and enjoyable overall. Solid but not exceptional. Orecchiette – 6/10 Just okay. The blend of chicken, pork, and beef in the meat sauce leaned too heavily on the fennel, and the crumbly ragu-style texture created an odd flavour profile. The pasta itself had a great bite, but the sauce missed the mark. Tiramisu – 8/10 Interesting twist. The toasted hazelnuts added a great new dimension, but the dessert leaned more toward a tiramisu-flavoured cake rather than the classic creamy Italian version you'd expect. Good, but not traditional.
Osteria Mozza has a great ambience, and I was surprised by how spacious the restaurant is. The food was superb. Our server, Shawn, was great and very knowledgeable! The Old Fashion was top-notch as well. I highly recommend this place. Parking is a pain, but other than that, it is a great spot.
Delicious burrata, entrees and the absolute BEST sweet corn capellini I have ever had in my life! We didn’t have reservations and sat at the bar :) We even made friends!
It’s the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to start writing a review before even leaving the restaurant. We had been looking forward to Osteria Mozza, and the food was truly extraordinary—easily one of the best meals we’ve ever had. But what really makes me sit here typing is Madison, our server in every sense of the word. She didn’t just serve us; she guided us with perfect recommendations, warmth, and an effortless charm that reminded me of true European hospitality. Grateful for the experience, and already planning my return.
