Full story is my roommate had some kind of virus I caught it, went into get a doctors note, walked out with two scripts and a sinus infection diagnosis. At the time I was too sick to realize this but you can't catch sinus infections off of other people. I proceeded to take antibiotics and steriods on top of having a viral infection. NEVER take antibiotics when you have a viral infection as it increases recovery time and can open your immune system up to more and more dangerous symptoms. Also, remind your practitioner when you come in that just because you don't have a fever doesn't mean you can't have something as simple as the common cold (I have a naturally lower resting temp. and rarely run an actual fever - 99.5° is enough for me to be incoherent and confused) They only get two stars because the staff was kind and it was not busy, but had I been a small child or an elder the level of care I recieved would have likely landed me in the hospital or in a coffin - over something as simple as the common cold. Stay safe, do your own research, and question everything.
FASTEST urgent care in my life for a TB skin test (5 MINUTES!) and I’ve been to many around the USA for work assignments (drug screens, TB skin test, etc). Friendly staff. Thank you for your efficiency!
I had such a pleasant experience at this facility.Despite my circumstances. I came in cause I was experiencing some flue like symptoms when I got there.There was nobody else waiting.I was seen immediately after finishing my paperwork.The staff was very friendly and helpful.I was in and out within twenty minutes.I will definitely return to this facility in the future.When needed.
Don't waste your time OR MONEY going to the facility!! First off, the "doctor" totally gave the wrong diagnosis. We ended up in the ER the very next day with the area that he called a" simple cyst" that had quadrupled in size. They had to drain it, took a sample and it was MRSA. IF he had actually taken the time with his patient, he might have known this. We ended up in the hospital 2 more times after that with IV antibiotics. After all this, they deducted $300 out of my checking account and believe me when i say, THERE WAS NOT $300 WORTH OF CARE GIVEN!!
Absolutely terrible experience. I walked in with zero patients in the building. Simply needed a urine culture for a UTI. I was in there for almost an hour. Waited 20 mins for the test to come back. The NP Noel said she would send my prescription to Publix across the street in Northshore. I went to Publix and waited 15 minutes for them to receive the prescription, but they never received it. Tried calling the clinic and they wouldn’t answer, so I had to drive back over to the clinic just to talk to someone, then I stood in the lobby for 5 mins waiting for someone to come to the counter just for the receptionist to tell me that Noel sent it to another pharmacy. What I thought would be a 30 minute trip turned into almost 2 hours.
