Great authentic Japanese restaurant with great service!! Came straight from the airport with luggage and they stored it away for us, and had it ready when we were leaving. Servers were knowledgeable and explained each item when it came out. Food was good quality, we had the sho ka do bento, ocean offering and strawberry mochi daifuku for dessert. Would definitely come back!
I spent more than double on a meal last weekend that didn’t even touch the meal I had at Raisu yesterday. Honestly. All of the items on the menu pair so well together you can’t go wrong. We ordered: Tako wasabi (x2 after we tasted the first one, I think it’s the best I’ve ever had) Hamachi and albacore sashimi w sushi rice (we went off script and used some nori to make little hand rolls. Uni cream and real crab udon with Ikura - WOW. so delish and so beautiful. Hell chicken - this was dessert Sake flight (I loved trying the red sake!) Before tip it was $115. Unreal. Our servers were so attentive, they were able to wrap the whole experience into a tight 45 mins. The atmosphere and energy in raisu is so fun. Overall one of the best meals I’ve had as far as I can remember. Thank you Raisu!! We will be back soon.
Had such an amazing dinner at Raisu! Everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious, especially the sashimi and the wagyu bowl. We had a wonderful time and the service was truly the highlight of the night. Special thank you to Kyoka Masaini for taking such great care of us, you were so friendly, attentive, and made our dinner extra enjoyable. We really appreciate it! Highly recommend this spot if you’re in Vancouver
As a non-Japanese, this is the authentic Japanese restaurant experience I’m looking for. Delicious Japanese food with a slight twist of local taste, I’m definitely returning in the future. We had lunch on a Sunday, at 2pm all signature specials are sold out already. Ordered a yuzu cream cheese that’s amazing, also the signature kaisen bowl, amazing look and amazing flavor. Yuzu parfait is also delicious.
Food were amazing! Of all that we ordered, uni udon was my favorite! It was so creamy and the uni didn’t overwhelmed. The chirashi don were great too and their best dessert is definitely the ichigo daifuku! Services are amazing, like real Japanese service. Really enjoyed dining here!
