Roar became a part of my life! After 4 3 months of nutrition support and one on one workouts with the BEST PT, it transformed my mindset. I continue to go 6 years on, still training with Luke, who has made me stronger, fitter and gives constant support and encouragement to beat new goals. It has become a discipline I can’t live without. A great place to be with a fantastic team. 💪💪

If you want a gym that delivers real results, Roar is it. The PTs are genuinely supportive, the nutrition advice is practical and tailored, and the whole atmosphere pushes you to show up and give your best. In just a few weeks, my strength, form, and confidence have all taken a huge step forward. A special thanks to Matt, who’s been incredible to train with, and to Jack, whose nutrition guidance has made such a difference already. I’m genuinely excited for what’s ahead. So, my first session was with Craig at Roar London City on September 5th. The transformation has been incredible already, 2 months in. - sessions are tailored to my specific goal of a particular track and field event, and building towards that. - when I’ve had injuries (not caused by Roar!), sessions have been adapted to allow the rehab to happen. - the nutrition support is fabulous and the regular check ins keep you on track. In two months, I’ve become *so* much stronger and leaner. My body shape hasn’t been like this in decades. I’ve had to buy clothes that are the next size down. And the track and field project for next year, competing in open age category rather than M50 veterans, actually looks attainable. I can’t speak highly enough of Craig (and Matt on nutrition). A side point: the numbers of people training at the same time are very small which means you don’t have any dead time during the each session waiting for a machine or a weight. You get 100% of your training time. And an added bonus is that you get to know some of the other clients and everyone is incredibly supportive and friendly. Roar isn’t cheap. But it’s totally worth it.
ROAR FITNESS REVIEW: JOSH DAVIS, PT I cannot begin to tell you the huge impact that my time at Roar has had. I first stepped foot in the gym in April this year awaiting the unknown: was I strong enough?, would I keep up?, would it hurt?! Concentrating and focusing on just yourself may seem a vain characteristic, but attending the gym produces an inner strength to adapt to a healthier lifestyle. I found that not only did I lose weight (yayy!), I felt physically and mentally a better version of myself and, of course, slept well! My deportment has improved and I now find myself walking tall and proud of my achievements! What I liked above all else, was the feeling that I wasn’t being judged – my size and fitness levels only taken into account for the work outs, and nutrition. Although it was busy at times, I often felt like the only person in the gym and this is a result of the fantastic coaching from Josh. Josh’s ability to connect, understand and encourage clients is admirable and over the course of almost 6 months, I never experienced him having a bad day! I, however, had quite a few (!) but his infectious laugh and cheery smile was always a true welcome at our gym sessions. Due to Josh’s patience, dedication and understanding of client needs (ie, mine!) has enabled me to reach personal goals otherwise unobtainable – and the necessary guidance to maintain focus to continue on my own. I have “taken off the stabilizers” and ventured to the gym on my own – not the same as his coaching at Roar, but Josh has provided me with the confidence and enthusiasm to continue on this journey.
