Rocky Mountain Academy of Music has been such a wonderful part of our lives since we started taking lessons there almost 7 months ago. First, my then 4 year old son started taking piano lessons. It’s hard to keep him focused, and with hardly any practice he has learned all the notes on the keyboard and is beginning to read and play sheet music! He has also been welcomed to explore so many other instruments beyond the piano, like saxophone, guitar, and drums by the teachers there! I started with drum/percussion lessons there 5 months ago and I’m learning a lot and having such a blast! Thank you to our piano teacher and our drum teachers, Mr. Benito, Mr. Dan, and Mr. Dewey for helping us make music part of our lives! We love and highly recommend this place!
Benito has helped my 7 yr old son go from zero experience on piano to an absolute rock star who is showing other kids how to play regularly ! Rocky Mountain Academy is amazing! Highly recommend
Started picking up saxophone recently after not playing since middle school. Benito is a fantastic instructor who makes lessons interesting and gives very good tips for practicing. He is very knowledgeable about music and motivates me to get better at my horn every week. Would heavily recommend for students at any level of music.
I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Academy of Music! I normally don't write reviews, but the expertise and quality of instruction that Benito provides warrants a 5 star review. I'm an older adult student who returned to play saxophone after having not played it since high school. I've started playing with a group composed of guitar players, a drummer, and a keyboard player. I never had the need to transpose chart music and was having difficulty with it, but Benito explained how to do it in a clear and concise manner. His instruction on playing the saxophone is top notch. He is easy to work with to schedule lessons and is flexible on the payment method.
