I had an eyebrow threading done by Pallavi today and she is absolutely amazing! It was my first experience at eyebrow threading and I was scared it was going to hurt but she made it painless and the results are just what I wanted! 10/10 would recommend 😊
I have been getting bikini waxes at the same salon for several sessions, and my experience has always been smooth and professional. However, during my recent visit, my regular beautician was unavailable, so I decided to try another beautician, who claimed to have experience. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely painful and uncomfortable. The beautician attempted to cover a very large area at once, and despite her claims of experience, it was evident that she was not familiar with handling strong hair growth in that sensitive area. The way she pulled the wax caused intense pain, and even after giving her a second chance, the discomfort worsened. Eventually, I had to stop the procedure as I could not bear the pain. During the attempt to correct it with scissors, my skin was accidentally cut, causing additional pain. I am writing this review at 3 AM as I am still unable to sleep due to the pain. The procedure caused significant discomfort and was far below the professional standard I have always expected from this salon. The XXX bikini wax usually costs $59, but despite the poor experience and the fact that the service was not properly completed, I was charged $29.
I had my eyebrows done today by Sandeep, and I’m so impressed with the result. She was gentle, professional, and paid great attention to detail. My eyebrows look perfectly shaped and natural. The whole experience was comfortable and pleasant. Thank you..
Have been going to get my lashes done since September here, whist the lashes looked nice, today they were a bit harsh with my lashes and my eye lid was irritated for a while compared to the last other times I’ve gotten them done. I’ve had my lashes done by other businesses before and I’ve been told to wash lashes everyday (obviously after 24 hours of initially putting them on) just for hygiene purposes and it supports with retention. Although this business told me to wash my lashes twice a week which is a bit of a concern regarding lash hygiene. I told them I wash them everyday and was told that they would fall out more— but for me washing my lashes at least once a day helped with the retention. Least to say I was off put with knowing I should wash them less than I should… still not sure of the reasoning why you would only wash twice a week instead of at least once a day?
