I’ve tried for over 2 months to get one of their workers to come fix an issue they caused when installing a fan in July. They don’t respond to calls or texts often. When they do respond they promise to show up at specific times agreed upon by both parties then they don’t show up. This has happened numerous times. They can’t seem to get their act together. Don’t use them.

In the aftermath of a terrible storm, I was left with a fallen tree, downed power lines, a damaged vehicle, and significant damage to the exterior of my home. Feeling overwhelmed, I turned to God in prayer and asked Him to guide my next steps. I trusted He would lead me, and He did. Initially, I was directed to a company, but they couldn’t come for an estimate for another week — and with live wires near my home, I knew I couldn’t wait. So I searched again and came across Schmidt’s Electrical. I had never heard of them before, but something in my spirit nudged me to call. When I reached out, the owner, Erik, answered right away. He listened patiently to my situation and said he would come immediately. True to his word, he arrived quickly, assessed the situation, and gave me a fair and honest price. He was not only timely, but also kind, respectful, and professional — truly a blessing in a time of distress. Erik told me he would gather what he needed and return shortly. Within a few hours, I had power again. The next morning, Pepco arrived and was surprised to see how much easier their job had been made. God had truly sent help right when I needed it most. Once again, Schmidt's Electrical did not disappoint. I recently had new siding installed and meter had to be removed to complete installation. Was told I needed an electrician to reattach meter to house. Without hesitation I knew who to call. Erik and his crew came out, reattached the meter to my house, installed new meter cable and also upgraded my breaker box, all in a few hours. His skills are unmatched and his prices are unbeatable. He's very knowledgeable, timely, respectful, and always professional. If you need a master electrician, you can't wrong with Schmidt's Electrical!!!

I recently hired Schmidt's Electrical to install a ceiling fan in my condo, and I couldn't be happier with the service. Erik recently installed flood lights and sconce lights outdoors at my home. Erick and His team did a great job at a reasonable price and promptly returned when I requested a few adjustments. I would highly recommend Erick and His team for electrical work.
