Society Hill is the best vet i’ve been to in Philly. They are professional, warm and caring. Dr Shirosky is the best. Her and the rest of the team took care of my sick cat. During that hard time she helped to put me at ease and did everything possible to help my pet.
Society Hill Vet is the best in the whole area!! I took my two very anxious cats here for checkups and shots and they handled them like absolute pros! Leann and Dr Stephanie Valentino were amazing , they listened to every concern we had and met us with so much grace and empathy. It’s obvious that everyone on the team loves animals and people alike. The receptionist , I believe her name was Diana was also incredible and so joyful ! Also very practical prices!
The best vet experience ever! My cat Syndi came to me as a very aggressive feral cat years ago and she still has serious issues around most people and animals. We’ve lived in other states and had vets refuse us because of her aggression, and mentioned that she would require sedation. This alarmed me so I avoided the vet for a while. When we moved back to Philly, I started looking around again and was so relieved to find Society Hill Vet Hospital! They offered some calming medication to try on her which worked so well. She made it through a full exam and two vaccines without any hesitation. I’ve never seen her that patient before! The entire staff was highly respectful and understanding. So grateful for them!
We are so glad we switched to Society Hill Vets for the care of our shiba. They made the process of transferring records easy. Everyone there is so caring and professional. When our shiba was vomiting and in distress, they got us in quickly for testing and planning next steps. We are impressed with how gentle and thorough the staff and vet are in administering tests and recommending treatment. They easily got our dog to stand on a weight scale (1st time in 7 years!). They advised us of costs upfront and gave clear after-care advice. There are several free adjacent parking spaces for visitors.
I have had my cockapoo for 3 years & I am a first time dog Mom. This is the second vet I have taken my Nelly. I honesty did not have any issues with the first vet except the office basically moved & was inconvenient. I am super glad that they moved because I feel so much more comfortable with Society Hill Animal hospital taken care of my baby girl. Everyone was professional & friendly & made Nelly & I feel heard. Hopefully they don't move because I would have to travel no matter how inconvenient because I found Nelly's life long Vet. I would definitely recommend Society Hill Animal Hospital to any pet parent looking for Great, affordable pet care. 10 plus stars
