Brooke gave me a cut&style and it was the best experience!! I have super long/thick hair, and she did a great job with cutting my layers evenly and beautifully. Also super duper sweet and helpful :)
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at South Tampa Salon. The environment is warm, relaxing, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated. I was immediately greeted by the staff, and my stylist, Aly, was amazing. She took the time to truly understand the cut I was going for and executed it to perfection. She is incredibly kind and personable, and instantly made me feel comfortable. The hour flew by in her chair. I couldn’t be happier with the experience.
I was in town from Canada for my 30-year high school reunion in late October and didn’t know where to go in a much-changed Tampa. After seeing South Tampa Salon’s great reviews and impressive stylist Instagrams, I emailed from the plane asking for a last-minute color and cut. The salon manager replied immediately, set up my Canadian info, and booked me without any hassle. Not gonna lie: I was nervous to try “junior” stylists after 20 years with a Toronto–Yorkville “blonde OG” (who had recently retired - hence my desperate need for the works)...but these young women are fabulous. On Friday, I saw Lexi, who teamed up with Brooke and worked efficiently without cutting corners. I had a Root Touch-Up, Partial Balayage, Root Melt, and Cut & Style. The color was fresh and glossy, and they had me in and out right on time. Because I have very curly hair that gets frizzy super fast, I booked another blowout for Saturday with Adriana. She’s not only a talented stylist—she creates a genuinely great vibe in the chair: warm, grounded, and easy to be with. We talked about long-term hair health, and she suggested a keratin treatment to help with damage and make my at-home blowouts easier. I was leaving for Orlando on Monday at noon, and Adriana generously reworked her schedule to come in early Monday morning (her day off) to do it. I walked out feeling polished, smooth, and reunion-ready. I followed Adriana’s post-keratin instructions to the T, and it looks fabulous. I can actually let it air-dry, and the texture still looks great. I’m thrilled not to spend hours blow-drying…and no more frying my hair with my flat iron when I self-style! From lightning-fast booking to above-and-beyond care, this salon delivers. I’m seriously considering flying back to keep working with Adriana. Just had my very first Keratin treatment with Brooke. She was so friendly and did an amazing job walking me through every step of the way. And the final results were immediately noticeable. My hair was so dry and frizzy and now is so sleek and smooth. I am so excited to do my hair now. Already booked for my next appointment. Thank You Brooke!!!
Brooke did absolutely amazing on my hair, it looks so good. Everyone was so friendly and nice here and so welcoming. For it being my first experience I was highly satisfied and will definitely be back in the future!!
