I had a couple of adult piano lessons while I was temporarily back in Brisbane and got quite a lot of my sessions! Will is a fun and engaging teacher and made the effort to teach me different techniques to help with my practice. The learning studios are also in a really cool location and the learning environment feels safe. Would definitely recommend Buttery if you are looking to learn or revisit a musical instrument.
Absolutely blown away by the the incursion The Buttery Music School put together for us at Wilston Kids Care! It was tailor-made for us, and all of the children ended up writing and performing their own songs by the end of the workshop – how cool is that?! Jaymee, River, and Aaron were fantastic. They brought so much energy and engagement and the kids loved every minute of it! I would recommend them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for someone to bring something fresh to your program, The Buttery Music School is the way to go. They truly did an exceptional job.
Our son has been a student of The Buttery Music School for 5 years, starting when he was 4 years old on drums and doing keys and singing. Throughout the years they have met his need for child led learning and we've seen him develop his music and singing skills giving him confidence and an avenue for his self-expression. He loves being in a band as well, the joy of jamming together and preparing for a performance. Inclusive, quality teaching, with musicians who are in bands and are passionate about their students and what they can achieve. We love being part of The Buttery family. 10,000 stars!
The Buttery Music School is an incredible place where our three children love to go to learn music. All of the teachers are true professionals with a passion for teaching music. They go above and beyond to make their lessons fun and engaging. The only trouble we have is they want to go every day and learn all of the instruments! So far we have really enjoyed the keys lessons with Will and guitar with Liam as well as songwriting with Sanjay.
I have been doing singing lessons at The Buttery Music School for around 2 years now, and I absolutely love it. Not only my 1:1 lessons, but also being apart of the most beautiful community. I have always enjoyed singing, but don’t have a particular skill or talent. I always thought singing lessons was only for people gifted with amazing voices. The Buttery has shown me that everyone can have a go! Music is for everyone! It is the most inclusive and supportive space. The Buttery celebrates and embraces all people and their uniqueness. It provides a safe place for people to express themselves creatively. The Buttery teachers are a team of compassionate, kind, talented and funky rock stars.
