It was my 1st time in this store, and I loved it. They were very helpful and showed me around the store. It's a cool vibe. They had everything I needed for my Christmas party, I'll definitely go back before the New Year.
Second time here and the last time as well. We are in our 50's and look even more older. After shopping at the store for 45 mins and selecting our beverages, At the check out we both(Both in our 50's) were required to show our ID's. One of us showed the id and the other was not carrying the id. Your policy as below states "may require" ID. Also if you appear to be below 30-how is it relevant here? Or you can require to see ID when entering the store for every individual regardless of the age so you are not wasting anyones time. For your referenece your policy from your online web is posted below: "All parties in a group may be required to present identification. If you appear to be age 30 or under, our team members will ask for identification to ensure we are doing everything we can to prevent sales to minors. It’s our responsibility to our neighbors and the community." The policy "All parties in a group may be required to present identification" seems more of how the cashier and floor manager intends to profile you. On June 27th when we shopped here it was 3 of us and only I was required to show an ID. Now it is all about being profiled under a corporate memo.
I had a great experience here at this location, I was lost but Kim helped me find a good wine, along with some wine tasting! Also Yamani was amazing she helped me and my friend set up a rewards number. She really made the checkout process quick and easy, great personality as well and very professional. Total wine you guys did a great job at hiring them!!
We bought all our alcohol and mixers for our wedding recently, and couldn't have had a better experience. We knew which drinks & liquor we were serving and about how much we needed, but Ty went above and beyond to walk the store with us to offer recommendations and gather everything needed. The store was able to hold everything for us until we needed to pick it up, and even offered to have things pre-chilled. Ty ensured he was working the day we scheduled to pick up, and he and another employee loaded everything right into our car. Our experience was seamless and stress free, and we couldn't be more grateful.
We need to order a boatload of alcohol—wine, beer, tequila and bourbon—for our upcoming wedding reception. My friends and I scheduled a wine tasting at Total Wine and More on Arden Way in Sacramento and were lucky enough to get Ty as our “sommelier” for the evening. This guy knows wine! He also knows how to advise people on what type of wine to purchase based on crowd, crowd size, event, food and more. He’s also chill and so much fun. I consider our “wine tasting excursion” to be one of many fun “tasks” associated with my reception planning; it certainly was not a mundane “to do” chore. Originally, I had planned to buy my wine at Total Wine and my alcohol and beer someplace else. I switched gears when I realized it was going to be be easier just to get it all at one location. A manager at Total Wine, Ty was able to assist with our entire order. And while he was going to be out of town on the day of our reception, he ensured our order would be ready to go when our wonderful planner went to pick it up on the day of the reception. I highly recommend Ty and the folks at Total Wine and More on Arden. They were all so helpful!
