They are very kind and so helpful here!! Got me in a room immediately, and while there was a small wait, because it’s an emergency vet and my cat was not in a dire situation, they had a TV, plus drinks while i waited! They were very fast for an urgent care vet, and they explained everything and all of my options in such detail, i appreciate such amazing communication!! The doctor was so wonderful who worked with us! Sotero and Dr. Dunson were both so lovely and helpful!!
The people working here deserve actual praise. The ladies at the front are super nice, and we're more than patient when I was being an ass. They got my puppy checked out almost immediately, made sure I knew he was gonna be okay, and even worked with me on the price. The vet came in, sat down with me to talk and made sure I really understood my options. Despite me being a pretty crappy customer, they treated Gator and I really well and if I ever need an emergency vet again it will undoubtedly be these guys.
We rescued a stray cat we saw get hit by a car, and brought her in the next morning on a recommendation from our regular vet office. This is our first time ever using a pet urgent care. Dr. Johnson came in and thoroughly examined her, and explained what our options were. He answered all our questions honestly and was empathetic. The nurse and receptionist were also great, they were very kind, welcoming and supportive. We decided on a splint for her broken leg, and are so thankful and grateful to get her seen today.
I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the compassionate team at Tulsa Animal Urgent Care. When I was faced with the most heartbreaking decision of my life—helping my sweet pup cross the rainbow bridge—they treated both of us with a level of kindness, dignity, and genuine empathy that I will never forget. From the moment we walked in, they made sure my dog was comfortable, calm, and surrounded by love. They explained every step gently, gave me all the time I needed, and never once made me feel rushed. Their tenderness toward my pup, and their respect for the bond we shared, brought me so much comfort in a moment that felt impossible to face. Saying goodbye is something no pet parent is ever prepared for, but Tulsa Animal Urgent Care did everything they could to make this painful experience a little easier. Their compassion created a peaceful, loving space for my dog’s final moments, and for that, I will be forever thankful. To the entire team: thank you for your kindness, your patience, and your hearts. You helped me give my baby boy the gentle, dignified farewell he deserved. I am truly grateful. 💖🌈
When we realized our sweet mama cat Mittens wasn’t eating we tried to get into our vet at Forest Trails…but because of scheduling, they could not see her until the next day and so then we were referred to Tulsa Animal Urgent Care to get her seen quickly. And thank goodness we opted to take her in. She ended up having an infection that was life threatening and needing immediate attention leading to surgery. If we had not gotten her in right then, she would not be with us today. The staff was just the most amazing group of people. Friendly and caring. Especially Dr Evan’s!!! She is one in a million. We have never had a vet like her. She immediately took interest and predicted what was wrong. She was spot on. She knows her stuff. Very impressive. She patiently walked us through what she needed to do and what choices we had including what it would cost. She was extremely personable to us and cared for our sweet girl like she was her own. She kept in contact as we waited for surgery and followed up after surgery. She opted to run another test before the surgery and found that one of Mittens kidney levels had spiked. She delayed the surgery to correct it. So thorough. She even sat down on the bench with us at pick up and showed us pictures from the surgery. We have never had such a traumatic situation with an animal go so smoothly and feel so confident they are getting the best care. They get the highest recommendation I can possibly give!!!!!! Well done Tulsa Animal Urgent Care!
