I had to take my dog to VEG ER for Pets for an eye injury, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was compassionate, attentive, and reassuring during a very stressful situation. Dr. JW was especially wonderful—extremely friendly, patient, and thorough in explaining everything, which immediately put me at ease. My dog received excellent care, and I truly felt that they treated him as if she were their own. I’m incredibly grateful for this team and highly recommend them to any pet parent needing emergency care.
Such a great staff here! They got my dog in within 1 minute of us arriving and they took care him with so much grace that Mushu wasn’t bothered one bit. Everyone was so knowledgeable, kind, calming, and reassuring. In the future, VEG will be out first stop. They also coordinated with our primary vet incredibly well. Huge thanks to everyone who made this experience as fantastic as it was
I truly can’t thank VEG ER Chelsea, Dr. Adrian and the ENTIRE team on location enough for treating me and my dog with the upmost care and professionalism - and working quickly and efficiently to save my dog’s life! I was so nervous to go to a new location for an emergency procedure / surgery that didn't know me or my dog, but neither her primary vet or regular ER were able to do what she needed. And although it’s so scary to put your dogs life in the hands of complete strangers - EVERY single person there (like 12 people) was working on my dog’s case the second we walked through the door and made us both feel safe and taken care of! Every single one of them was around her operating table helping her and working together as a team. They were successful and truly amazing every single step of the way. So all this to say I 10000% recommend them if you have any pet emergencies in NYC. You will be in good hands and I am so grateful!
Amazing service from the VEG team here. I took my dog in because he may have ingested iron supplements. They promptly saw me, evaluated his situation, and worked to treat him. Everyone there was super nice and considerate and I felt like my pup was in great hands. Special shout out to Dr. Elizabeth Green and the team (I'm sorry I did not get anyone else's name) for helping to explain everything so calmly and for being empathetic and understanding.
This is the second time we bring one of our pets to VEG and the experience both times has been excellent. MrCat had a urinary blockage this time, which they attending immediately. After a few days in the ER with the best care, he’s back at home. First thing he did was eat all his new food. Now here’s resting comfortably on his terrace. From the doctors to the entire support staff, everyone loves pets and really takes good care of them. We highly Recomend them
