Victory and all the staff there has given me the support I have been looking for as a parent when it comes to the values and confidence I want to instill in my kids (ages 10 and 7). It’s a fun, exciting and encouraging environment. My kids have grown so much as individuals in the past 6 months, more than I even expected and I am so thankful for the way that has translated to our home life. My kids love going to Victory and they look forward to it every week!
Victory has been amazing for our daughter. She has grown in her confidence and perseverance over the past few years. They focus on vital life values and skills such as communication, respect and self-esteem. Staff have been incredibly accommodating and understanding of our daughter’s different learning style and anxiety challenges. Couldn’t speak highly enough of everyone at Victory Martial Arts-Mesa!
My kids are 2.5 years into a 3 year Black Belt Program. One of my children is teenaged, large, strong, and neuro-typical. My other is an elementary aged, neuro-divergent, and small-to-average in size child. Despite being largely opposite each other, both of my children have excelled and transformed, each according to their capacities. They both experience both challenge and success. This program has helped discipline their minds and bodies and they have expanded their beliefs about the capacities they can each reach. To be honest, I'm indifferent to whether or not my kids learn martial arts, or if they ever master it. What keeps us invested in Victory are the instructors. Every single instructor at our school is of the highest caliber of human, and my children grow just by knowing them. Their instructors model discipline, humility, hard work, love, and integrity. They coach with specificity according to what each child needs and can accomplish. They are both firm and flexible in their teaching styles, taking the time to recognize the difference between when students just need to work harder or be more disciplined and when they need additional or different instruction to grasp a concept. They hold the kids accountable, and push them to do and be their best. I also have not often met people who love what they do as much as the instructors at Victory do. We're very satisfied with our choice of Victory Martial arts for our students.
Our family has had such a wonderful experience at Victory Martial Arts in Mesa. The instructors are not only skilled but also incredibly supportive and encouraging. We’ve seen so much growth in confidence, discipline, and self-esteem—not just in our kids, but in ourselves as well. The classes are well-structured, fun, and challenging in all the right ways. They do a fantastic job balancing fitness, martial arts skills, and life lessons that carry over outside the dojo. It has also been a great way for our family to bond and stay active together. We are grateful to have found Victory Martial Arts and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a positive, family-friendly martial arts school!
Our daughter began martial arts at Victory in June 2022 when she was 4 years old. A year later, she joined the leadership program, and the progress we've seen has been impressive. She's gone from being quiet and reserved to speaking up more and confidently demonstrating her skills. She has fun and shows pride in her accomplishments! We appreciate the supportive environment at Victory! The instructors are attentive and encouraging, helping her improve while keeping things positive. The community aspect stands out—students are motivated to support each other and celebrate progress, which makes for a great learning environment. We are Victory for life and look forward to our daughter’s continued journey! Staring our journey has been a great decision for our daughter and the skills she can build and take with her.
