Besides providing good value, these folks offer the best advice on wine. And they get some really interesting wines.
Outstanding selection of wines from respected distributors. Sadly, we moved a bit further away from the Chicago location, but I drop by once in a while to mosey around or pick up an online order. Love their easy drinking selections (I'm a sucker for Portuguese vinho tinto) and great recommendations from really cool people. Always appreciate the fun, funky, and weird (in a good way) wine selections, especially in the wine pick lists!
Outstanding selection of your favorite wines
I am genuinely surprised I haven’t reviewed them before. I shop almost exclusively at their city location. They do have four or five locations in addition to the city location. I love their reviews and their great buys on $10-$30 bottles of wine for everyday use. Additionally I love buying futures and wines that are scheduled to be delivered later. I have started building out my cellar. Additionally I love going to there wine tastings and the once a month introduction to all the new inventory they brought in. I’ve been shopping there now for 25 years. They’re brilliant.
Great variety of wines, a few beers & spirits. Staff is friendly and customer oriented. Prices range from low and reasonable to high end. Worth visiting and revisiting over and over again.
