I love Weirs and my family has been loyal customers since 1986. I’m giving 1 star solely on the last purchase bc it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. My mom and I walked in and I already knew what I wanted (a twin bed for my 7yo), I showed the sales guy on my phone and we went to the floor sample of the Tamarack bed in gray and I said I wanted it in white. Kent was the sales person and said that they only had it in a twin, which is what we wanted. He would have known if he’d asked but seemed extremely disinterested in putting forth effort. For the mattress, we went to the sale floor and he recommended 2 mattresses. I picked the mattress I wanted and he said I needed a box spring. I asked the price which I saw on the tag was around $160 and he said they are around $130. I told him I wanted all 3, he’s asked if I needed anything else and quoted me around $1100. I paid and he said they would be out to deliver the following Wednesday. He never went over a delivery fee and I’ve never had someone not go over the cost of delivery. My mom had an appointment to get to so I was happy to wrap things up quickly and put the receipt in my purse. On the day of the delivery, I was told he only ordered the bed, mattress, and applied the $149 premium delivery. My son’s bed can’t be used without a box spring. Experiences like this make me want to go elsewhere.
John Baker helped us and he was great. The perfect salesman, let us browse the store with his tape measure and did not hover over us. He was very knowledgeable and low key. Weir’s outlet has top leather sofas and we found exactly what we wanted with John’s help. A+ for both John and Weirs.
I am disappointed in Weir's and will never purchase from them again. My best friend and I went to Weir's to look for chairs and rugs. It was in the evening and the store was winding down. They had rug swatches and I ended up deciding to purchase a large area rug for my living room. The swatch was small but I thought "well, I can always bring it back if it doesn't look good." Well, it ended up looking baby blue once it was in my living room and that isn't the color I was going for...I looked up the return policy (and was well within the time frame) and took it back. Once I got up there they told me it was a custom order and that it was not refundable. I told them that I was never told it was non-refundable. I wouldn't have spent $1200 on a rug by only looking at a small swatch. I am floored because its not like Weir's made this rug for me. They simply ordered it from their supplier. In this day and age, where you can buy anything online and send it back if it doesn't workout, I am simply amazed that Weir's would not let me return the rug. This is exactly why big box stores go out of business. I know for fact that the discussion was not had that this was a final sale because I simply wouldn't have taken the risk. Buyer beware...and order it from a place that will honor a return policy!!!

I recently purchased a desk with the help of Richard and Dirk, and from start to finish the service was exceptional. They were knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely interested in helping me find exactly the right piece—not just making a sale. The entire process was seamless, professional, and enjoyable, which is why I continue to come back to Weir’s. It’s rare these days to find a combination of high-quality furniture and outstanding customer service, but Weir’s consistently delivers both. Richard and Dirk are a real credit to the Plano store. Highly recommend.
We purchased our sectional three years ago, and while it has held up reasonably well, the seat cushions and back pillows are starting to lose their shape. This raises concerns about the quality of the product, especially given its current condition. Additionally, I found the customer service to be less than helpful, as I had to take the initiative to follow up on the supervisor's suggestions. The warranty did not meet my expectations, and I feel that the investment may not have been worthwhile considering the appearance of the furniture. I was also informed that I could purchase inserts or seek stuffing from a fabric store, which was surprising.
