What you'll find If you're visiting Anchorage, stop by the Alaska Public Lands Information Center to learn more about the wildlife, history and culture of Alaska's public lands. Here you can get advice about trip planning, walk through the museum exhibits, watch a park film, or buy a souvenir while you earn your Jr. Ranger badge. In summer, there are ranger programs. Find out more at www.nps.gov/anch. Ranger Recommendation The Anchorage Alaska Public Lands Information Center is in the Old Federal Building which is still a working courthouse. You'll have to go through security so come prepared by leaving souvenir ulus, etc at home.
