From ages 5 to 105 Russell Cave welcomes all junior rangers. You can either ask for a book at the visitor center when you arrive or download and print a book from our website. Several books are available for various age ranges upon request. These books serve as a great way for visitors to learn more about the park through fun puzzles and activities that teach about Russell Cave.

Depending on the age of the participant, this book can take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. Plan to explore the visitor center and cave shelter to be able to complete the book. If time constraints are an issue, discuss this with a Park Ranger.

The front entrance to the visitor center building has a steep incline and narrow doorway. For better access using a wheelchair, it is recommended that visitors use the rear entrance that has a more mild incline. The books are available in accessible formats on our website. There is not a braille version of any of the books available.
