Become a Tumacácori Junior Ranger

Tumacácori National Historical Park

The complex narrative of Tumacácori doesn't have to be dry or confusing. You just need the right feathered guide! Pancho the Vermilion Flycatcher will guide young Junior Rangers through the park. Older children explore the park following a visual treasure hunt.

Think history is boring grown-up stuff? Ha! What could be more kid-friendly than following the travels of Pancho the Vermilion Flycatcher? Young children will enjoy the Pancho sticker-book tour. Older kids will be challenged by a visual treasure hunt. At Tumacácori, there is no book to fill out - the Junior Ranger program is an activity to be done while exploring the park. Inquire at the visitor center.
