Visit the New Industries Building. This building historically held workshops and laundry facilities where men incarcerated on Alcatraz labored at various tasks. Today this large open space contains exhibits on Prison Labor, waterbirds - Birds in a Changing Climate, and the commemorative exhibit, Red Power on Alcatraz: Perspectives 50 Years Later.
