Climb the Observation Tower at Round Marsh

Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve

Hike the trails at Theodore Roosevelt Area out to Round Marsh and climb the observation tower to look over the eco-system, bird watch, read the exhibit plaque, or sit and watch the world go by on the St. Johns River.

After hiking the trails at Theodore Roosevelt Area, rest and relax atop the observation tower at Round Marsh where you will see beautiful views, smell the marsh grasses, and hear the call of shore birds. A small bench and informational panel are situated at the top of the tower.
