The bookstore is operated by Eastern National, an official non-profit partner of the National Park Service dedicated to supporting the educational mission of Jimmy Carter National Historical Park. The bookstore has a wide range of books, post cards, educational games, and other items available for retail sale. These products complement the interpretive themes you experience when visiting the park. The park store is located at the Plains High School Visitor Center and Museum. Eastern National has an online store called America’s National Parks. The bookstore at Plains High School is wheelchair accessible. Access to the bookstore is off of the main lobby for the building. The bookstore has wide isles but visitors in large wheelchairs or large power wheelcairs may have difficuly reaching items. Visitors needing assistance in reaching items or shopping will need to ask the store clerk for assistance. Animals are not allowed in the building or the bookstore with the exception of service dogs.A service dog is a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability.
