Biking is a great way to experience Ocmulgee Mounds while getting in some exercise.

Biking is a great way to experience Ocmulgee Mounds! While bikes and ebikes are only allowed on the Heritage Trail, River Trail, and park road; bikers still get to see highlights of the park as they explore over three miles of biking paths. Be aware of vehicle traffic on the park road.

Yes — Pets are allowed on the park grounds on a leash no longer than six feet. Pets are not permitted in the Visitor Center unless they are a service animal. Please pick up after you dog during your visit.
