Along the Clearwater River the trickster, Coyote created many land and rock formations to teach the Nez Perce life lessons. Follow the river to Coyote’s Fishnet, Ant and the Yellowjacket and Heart of the Monster to see and learn from his exploits.

At the Ant and the Yellowjacket and Coyote’s Fishnet the information is viewable from the car, there is no audio. Heart of the Monster has a paved parking area, wheelchair access and paved trail to audio speaker to hear the story. Bathrooms are available. Pets allowed on leash.
