George Rogers Clark National Historical Park
Start your experience at the Visitor Center. Park Staff and volunteers will be located at the front desk to greet you and answer questions. Allow yourself at least a few minutes to become oriented to the park operation. The Visitor Center is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern.
Start Your Experience at the Visitor Center The Visitor Center is your entrance into the visitor experience at George Rogers Clark National Historical Park. Park staff and volunteers (VIPs) will be located at the front desk to greet and orient you to the park. The site's orientation film is shown in the theater on request. Children interested in earning their Junior Ranger Badge can learn about more the program and pick up an activity book. Exhibits about Clark, life during the Revolutionary War, and Fort Sackville are on display. Restroom facilities and a drinking fountain are also located near the front desk. While exploring the Visitor Center, pick up a brochure with the park map. Bookstore Books, educational materials, and other gifts are available for purchase inside the Visitor Center. The bookstore is manged by America's National Parks.

The park's Visitor Center is fully accessible with wheelchairs, walkers, and other assisted mobile devices. The park also owns two wheelchairs that are kept in the Visitor Center and available for use upon request. The park brochure is availble in braille and Spanish. All are availble upon request at the front desk. Assisted Listening Devices and Descriptive Listening Devices are also available upon request for visitors who choose to watch the orientation film in the Visitor Center theater. Service Animals are allowed.
No — Pets are not allowed in the Visitor Center with the exception of service animals. A service animal is defined as “any dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability.” Dogs are the only animals that can be used as a service animal except for miniature horses.
