Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial
Start Your Experience at the Memorial Visitor Center The Visitor Center is your entrance into the visitor experience at Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial. Park staff and volunteers will be located at the front desk to greet and orient you to the park. Allow at least 45 minutes to tour the Memorial Halls, Museum and watch the orientation film. Junior Rangers can pick up a Junior Ranger Activity book at the Information Desk.
Start Your Experience at the Visitor Center The Memorial Visitor Center is your entrance into the visitor experience at Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial. Park staff and volunteers will be located at the front desk to greet and orient you to the park. The site's orientation film, Forging Greatness; Lincoln in Indiana, is shown in the theater every 30 minutes at the top and bottom of each hour. Children interested in earning their Junior Ranger Badge can learn about more the program and pick up an activity book. Temporary exhibits on Lincoln's life are also displayed in the Visitor Center on an occassional basis. Restroom facilities and drinking fountains are located near the front desk and near the Nancy Hanks Lincoln Hall. While exploring the Memorial Visitor Center, pick up a brochure with the park map. Bookstore Books, educational materials, passport books, and other gifts are available for purchase inside the Visitor Center. The bookstore inventory is managed America's National Parks. Museum Visit the park museum, Lincoln In Indiana, to learn about Abraham Lincoln's family, boyhood, and frontier life in Indiana. Memorial Halls Two Memorial Halls, the Abraham Lincoln Hall and Nancy Hanks Lincoln Hall, are located on either end of the building.

Begin your visit at the Information Desk where a park staff will orient you to the park. Watch the orientation film, visit the museum and two Memorial Halls. Visitors can also visit the bookstore for educational materials and gifts to purchase. Restroom and drinking fountain facilities are available on both ends of the building.

The Memorial Visitor Center is fully accessible with wheelchairs, walkers, and other assisted mobile devices. The park also owns one wheelchair that is kept in the Visitor Center and available for use upon request. The Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hall is accessible via a ramp that is set up on an as needed basis. Inquire at the Information Desk. The park brochure is available in braille and is available upon request at the front desk.
