Tour Fort Larned with a Ranger

Fort Larned National Historic Site

The best way to see the fort. Check on availability when you arrive.

Ranger guided tours are available year-round as staffing allows. Please inquire at the visitor center when you arrive if you would like to have a guided tour. The activity is free of charge. Guided tours take about one hour on average, providing perspective on life at Fort Larned during the Indian Wars period, the Santa Fe Trail, and the conflict of cultures in a period of dramatic and rapid change. Large groups, such as tour groups or school groups, must reserve guided tours in advance. Call 620-285-6911 for reservations.
