Explore five miles of walking trails with stunning views on Spectacle Island! Hike up to the summit of the North Drumlin, the highest elevation in the Boston Harbor, or hike the South Drumlin to escape the crowds. Both drumlins provide beautiful views of the city and surrounding harbor. Not interested in a hiking up hills? The 1.5 mile perimeter trail has no elevation gain, meets ADA guidelines for accessibility, and offers new views at every turn. Stop by the Spectacle Island Visitor Center for updates on trails and trail maps. Spectacle Island is accessible via public ferry.
