Bunker Hill: Uncover the Stories Behind the Battle and Monument at the Museum

At the exhibits of the Bunker Hill Museum, visitors can explore more about the Battle of Bunker Hill, the construction of the Bunker Hill Monument, the memory of the battle, and the history of the Charlestown neighborhood.

The exhibits at the Bunker Hill Museum dive into the history of the battle of Bunker Hill and the monument that memorializes the battle. Here, visitors will also learn about the construction of the Bunker Hill Monument, how the battle has been remembered, and the history of the Charlestown neighborhood. The exhibit includes numerous artifacts and several dioramas that will bring you back to the day of the battle. Located across the street from the Monument grounds, the exhibits are housed in the old Charlestown Branch building of the Boston Public Library. The museum is free to the public. Please check current hours of operation before visiting the Museum.
