The Barrett House is currently closed for the season. Join us again in 2025. Come visit the Barrett family home and explore their prominent role in managing a stockpile of provincial military supplies that instigated battle on April 19, 1775.

On April 19, 1775 British Regulars set out on an expedition from Boston to Concord with specific orders to raid the town and surrounding farms for illegal stockpiles of military supplies. At the center of this provincial depot was Col. James Barrett and his farm north of the Concord River. The Barrett House is currently closed for the season. Join us again in 2025 when we invite you to come explore the historic site at the heart of the British raid and the horrific first battle of the American War of Independence. The Barrett House is located at 448 Barretts Mill Road Concord, MA 01742
