Acadia National Park
Explore Jordan Pond before the crowds by searching for breeding loon and songbirds in the morning at this popular Acadia destination.
Jordan Pond may be a well-sought after destination for its scenic lake views and Jordan Pond House Restaurant but before the crowds fill up this popular area, the early morning hosts a variety of singing and breeding songbirds throughout the spring, summer, and fall. The Jordan Pond area can also be explored in a variety of ways, hike around the lake, carefully scan the trees of the parking lot, stroll along the nearby carriage roads, or climbing up to the summit of a nearby mountain. Either possibility will give you a chance to seek nearby bird activity.
