You can explore archives at the following Heritage Sites. Please contact the specific site for more information. The Finnish American Heritage Center in downtown Hancock. NPS Photo Finnish American Heritage Center The Finnish American Historical Archives house the largest collection of Finnish-North American materials in the world. The MTU Archives are housed at the Van Pelt and Opie Library, on Michigan Tech's campus. NPS Photo Michigan Tech Archives The MTU Archives houses a wide variety of print, graphic, and manuscript resources. The historic Calumet and Hecla Mining Company Public Library now serves as the Keweenaw History Center. NPS Photo Keweenaw History Center at KNHP The Keweenaw History Center is home to the park's museum and archival collections, and the park library.
