Take a Ranger guided tour of historical sites such as the Jean-Baptiste Vallé House, Bauvais-Amoureux House, Green Tree Tavern and additional structures throughout Ste. Genevieve. Jean Bapiste Vallé House: The closest accessible parking is located at the Welcome Center. Paved sidewalks lead to the gate and historic limestone paved path leads to the stairs. There are nine steps to enter with a hand railing; there is no ramp. Bauvais-Amoureux House: The closest parking is available at the Wilhauk House. There are no sidewalks to the house. There are five steps with a railing up to a path of historic limestone pavers with two steps. There are six steps with hand railings up to the porch; there is no ramp. The basement is accessed by one step down and consists of a dirt floor and low ceilings. Green Tree Tavern: The closest parking is available at the Jour de Fête Park. There is an accessible footbridge and paved paths. There is no cross walk, so please be aware of traffic on the road. There are eight steps between a stone wall to a natural surface pathway and nine steps with a hand railing to get onto the porch. Learn more about accessibility at Ste.
