Celebrate and learn about Ulysses S. Grant during the park's bicentennial celebrations for his 200th birthday. Experience living history weekends, special themed tours and complete activities from an exclusive Junior Ranger booklet. Have fun and earn a commemorative US Grant 200 Junior Ranger badge. The park will host more than 15 in-person programs throughout the year to commemorate the Bicentennial and educate people of all ages about Grant's legacy. The majority of programs will be held outdoors. Some activities will be held on park grounds, off the path, but visible and heard from pathways. Birthday celebration (April 27) will be held in the accessible theater and inside White Haven Estate which is accessible If an ASL interpreter is needed for any of the presentations at bicentennial events, please give us 2 weeks notice by contacting julie_northrip@nps.gov or calling 314-842-1867 ext. 223.
