Visitors can drive around the one way tour road that loops the battlefield.
Drive the Tour Road Take a scenic and historic drive on the Battlefield Tour Road gives you a unique opportunity to view the entire battlefield to understand the scope of battle. There are 8 stops with 26 interpretive panels, as listed on the park map. You can park your car at 7 of the stops to read the panels. You must walk from the Visitor Center to the first stop to read the panel. Interested in more interpretation while you drive? There is a Self-Guided Driving Tour through the NPS Mobile App. The cell phone tour has 42 minutes of audio, is 2.5 miles long, and takes an estimated time of 1 hour to complete. The Battlefield Tour Road is One-Way, drivers and bikers drive on the RIGHT. You must yield to pedestrians and bikes. Hours of Operation The Park Gates close at 5:00PM which includes the Visitor Center Parking Lot, Tour Road, and Hoskins Farm. Cars left in the parking lots and spaces on the Tour Road after 5:00PM will be subject to a fine. Parking after hours is available in the lot at the intersection of New Garden and Old Battleground.

The Tour Road is paved and accessible to motorized wheelchairs and hand-operated wheelchairs, though some hills from Tour Stop 5 to Tour Stop 7 are quite steep. Leashed dogs (6 feet maximum) are allowed on the Tour Road.
Yes — Dogs are allowed on the Battlefield Tour Road, owners are required to keep them on a leash. There are 8 dog waste containers along the Tour Road. Do not attach your dog to your bicycle and force them to run alongside. This park has large hills, and this activity will lead to an injury for you or your dog.

All drivers must be licensed, but anyone can ride along to enjoy the tour.
