Biking the South Unit Scenic Drive is a fun and challenging way to see Theodore Roosevelt National Park! Get out of the car and enjoy riding your bike through the rolling badlands, and get a different perspective on the 24-mile scenic drive! Bicycles can be used on all park roads open to public vehicular traffic; they are not allowed on closed roads, administrative roads, off roadways, in the wilderness, or on any trails. Park roads are open to other vehicular traffic. Riders should ride single-file and wear bright clothing and proper protective equipment for safety. Be wildlife aware. Bison, horses, and other wildlife should not be approached closer than 25 yards for riders' own safety.
