Bicycling can be a great way to experience Scotts Bluff National Monument. There are two locations in the monument where bicycling is permitted: the Prairie View Trail, and the Summit Road when it is closed to vehicular traffic.

Experiencing Scotts Bluff National Monument by bicycle can be a wonderful experience. The Prairie View Trail is open to bicycles from sunrise to sunset. The Summit Road is open to bicycles from sunrise until the road opens to motor vehicles and again from when the road closes to motor vehicles until sunset.
