How to Become a Trail Junior Ranger The California National Historic Trail has it's own Junior Ranger Program! 1. Download the Junior Ranger Program. 2. Complete the activities. Use the official map and guide text and California National Historic Trail. You can complete it virtually or after visiting a California Trail site. 3. Email us (at ntir_Junior_Ranger@nps.gov) a photo of your completed worksheet. Be sure to include your full name, address, and telephone number in the email, in addition to the worksheet photo.
