El Morro Junior Ranger Program

El Morro National Monument

Are you interested in becoming a Junior Ranger? Ask a ranger at the front desk for an El Morro Junior Ranger book. Complete the activities during your visit and return it to receive your badge.

The Junior Ranger program is for those willing to preserve and protect national park sites. Junior rangers learn about the important history that makes parks unique, explore the natural environments, and share stories of their adventures with friends and families. When they leave parks, Junior rangers continue to protect and explore places close to home. Junior Ranger programs are available at most NPS sites and range in difficulty. Find a ranger at the El Morro Visitor Center and request a book. Complete the activities, show a ranger, and earn a badge! If you are unable to complete your book during your visit, Junior Ranger books can be mailed to the park to: Junior Ranger Program HC 61, Box 43 Ramah, NM 87321
