Starting from the Sulphur Creek Trailhead, ride 1.7 miles and turn right at Alamo Canyon. Approximately 3 miles up Alamo Canyon, turn left at VC06/Valle Seco Trail. You'll take this trail for about 3.7 miles until it loops back around to the Sulphur Creek Trail. From here, take a left and enjoy a long, speedy descent as you complete the full lasso. This is true backcountry mountain biking. The route is remote, with no cell reception and several trees that require a dismount. The rider is rewarded with tremendous natural beauty, neat geological features, and great wildlife viewing opportunities. The entire route is 13.5 miles with approximately 1800 feet of elevation gain. A full-suspension mountain bike is recommended.
