Fort Stanwix National Monument

You can dress up like a real colonial person during your visit to Fort Stanwix National Monument!

This activity can be found in the Gregg Barrack's Station inside the historic fort. When's the last time you played dress-up? When you visit the park make sure to check out the Colonial Dress-Up Trunk! Dress as a Continental Soldier. Try on a little girl's clothes. Who could you be? Bonus activity: Dress-up the whole family and take a picture in the fort together!

This activity is accessible to all ages and ability types. Reconstructed Fort Accessible parking is reserved in a pull-off in front of the fort. This activity is available for all ages and ability types. The coloring wall is inside of a relatively quiet location. However, it can get noisy when a group enters. Not all areas in the fort are accessible. Ramps can be made available by request to tour the inside buildings of the parade ground. Service Animals Service animals are welcome at Fort Stanwix National Monument. Please keep in mind that some living history demonstrations, like cannon firing or musket firing demonstrations that take place in the reconstructed fort, can be stressful and scary for our animal companions
