Catch a Historic Weapons Demonstrations
Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial
Come see how men dressed and fought in the War of 1812.
Every season the staff of Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial presents historic weapons demonstrations. These presentations are offered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from Memorial Day weekend through Historic Weekend in September. One weekend a month we pull out our reproduction carronade to give firing demonstrations. Check the park's calendar for when the carronade comes out.

Demonstrations are giving on the lawn around the Memorial. Sidewalks can get visitors close but sometimes not to the demonstration. The talks giving with small arms demonstrations are often given on the steps of the Memorial between upper and lower plazas. To get there a visitor would need to climb approximately 5 steps to get on lower plaza.
